PEPPERS
We think it is a small bush. It is very nice. They can be red and green.
The stem is soft and short. Leaves grow on the stem.
Peppers grow in summer. The seeds are inside the peppers.
It is very healthy for us because it has a lot of vitamins.
We can grow a pepper bush in a greenhouse, but they don’t taste very well.
Sometimes the pepper has a thick skin.

The apple tree is big and not very straight. Its leaves are green and serrate.
It has many flowers in spring.
The petals of the flower are white. The flowers are beautiful.
This tree is in Amoroto. There are many apple trees in the Basque Country.
It has got many branches; they are hard but not rigid.
There are leaves on the branches.
Sometimes the birds put their nests in the branches.
Sometimes there are caterpillars inside the apple .the seeds are inside the apple. They are small and brown.
Seeds develop in the carpel.
The apple has many vitamins and it is nice and healthy.
Seeds need water, sunlight, warmth and air to germinate.
The plant dies but new plants can grow from the seeds.
Plants give us oxygen to breathe.
Wood from trees give us heat, shelter and we can make paper.
We can make medicine from plants too.

We eat blackberries when they are black.
